The Christmas lights are now up here in Harpenden and the town looks so pretty and festive. The shop is also now looking very festive with frosted coated berries adorning the shelves.
We are loving our pearl jewellery. It’s so popular and appeals to such a wide age group. They have definitely been bought into the spotlight with the film “The Great Gatsby”, which came out earlier in the year. Set in the 1920’s when pearls were the thing to be seen in, the pearls worn in the film looked stunning, and with celebrity fans such as Michelle Obama and Sarah Jessica Parker pearls are more in vogue than ever.
Our pearls are by designer Claudia Bradby, an exceptional British jewellery brand. Claudia has been designing since 1999. Her focus is on “real” jewellery that won’t break the bank, but at the same time each piece is individual and has a timeless elegance.

We have been celebrating our 2 year anniversary this week, since opening the doors of our jewellery and accessories boutique, and an online shop. It has been an exciting couple of years as we continue to grow and build on what we have achieved. Always looking for new and exciting pieces to carry.
We are situated in a the idyllic town of Harpenden, Herts. It is a great place to come and look around, with many individual shops and boutiques, not to mention a vast choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Just received this gorgeous plum shopper, which looks so good, can be worn on the arm or on the shoulder. isn’t it just gorgeous, the perfect gift for Christmas.
I’m also loving this brown leather braided flat bag just in, by Ceannis a swiss make. It has the look of the Italian designer Bottega Veneta whose luxurious bags have the signature intrecciato woven leather. This is just beautiful craftsmanship makes you appreciate how long it takes to make these amazing pieces, I can’t help but be in loge with it.
We are really happy to be stocking new jewellery brand ‘Strange Of London’ (@StrangeofLondon). Strange of London creates new and innovative jewellery that raises awareness of the natural world around us. The collection includes Bee necklaces, Bee stud earrings, Butterfly and Stag Beatle necklaces, using 18ct gold and silver, teamed with semi precious stones including Citrine, Blue Topaz and Amethyst.
We love this statement honeycomb effect cuff with the bees scattered on it.

I just got back from seeing the fabulous Lola Rose (@LolaRoseUK), Spring/Summer 14 Collection, we loved their new ’boutique collection’. It mixes semi precious stones with gold and rose gold to create stunning pieces of jewellery.
We chose the amazing cuffs in gold and rose gold, of course a statement necklace in gorgeous tones, so watch this space…
Phoebe shows at London Fashion Week, she was also featured in Septembers Vogue, as well as many other fashion magazines. We love having her here at Nikki Kaye. Her newest collection has just arrived in the store, she studied Fine Art in California. Each of her collections tell you a story and it really is beautiful to see, her newest collection is called ‘Midnight Love’. It was unveiled at London’s Fashion Week, the collection was inspired by 17th century posy rings, which were symbols of love and were depicted in enamel. She uses white and navy enamel, with diamonds, it’s so delicate and feminine.
This jewellery is something you should see, so you’ll have to pop on into our store to come and see them in person. Trust us when we tell you it is worth the efforts, who knows you might just want to own one.
Gillian Julius’s designs are instantly recognisable, based in Los Angeles she incorporates her trade mark multi-layered bracelets. They come in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold, crafted in Italy and utilising multiple strands of waxed and polished cotton. The designer has a vast following of celebrities worldwide, it’s very cool statement jewellery.
This is our first official blog, we are so excited to start sharing everything with you guys!! We will be using this blog to give you more information on our designers. There will be pieces on things we’ve just got in and of course some of our favourite pieces, so bare with us as we embark on this new journey.
We can’t believe it’s almost coming to our 2 year anniversary of being in business, we are so proud of how far we come. We hope you will stay with us on our continuing journey, as our company grows more and more.
